Kyle O'Connor has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and genomics industries. Kyle is currently an Associate Director of Biopharma Business Development at Personalis, Inc. Kyle previously held roles as a Senior Manager of Biopharma Business Development at the same company. Before joining Personalis, Inc., Kyle worked as a Clinical Account Executive for Bioinformatics at QIAGEN from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they served as an Immunosequencing Account Executive at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. from 2014 to 2016. Kyle also worked as a Southwest Account Manager at RainDance Technologies from 2013 to 2014 and as an Account Manager for the Western US region at Knome Inc. from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they held positions as a Senior District Manager of Sequencing Sales at Life Technologies from 2011 to 2012, a District Sales Manager and Regional Account Manager at Illumina from 2004 to 2010, and in sales and field support roles at Affymetrix from 1999 to 2003. Their early experience includes a research associate position at Millennium Pharmaceuticals and a senior research associate role at the Stanford Human Genome Center.
From 1985 to 1989, Kyle O'Connor attended the University of Rochester, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology.
