Hugo Day is a seasoned software engineer specializing in medical device software development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Perspectum Diagnostics Ltd since November 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Research Programmer at ONI, where Hugo designed data analysis tools for biotechnology and optics, and as an R&D Scientist at Zetica Limited, responsible for developing signal processing methods for GPR data. Hugo’s background includes significant experience at CERN, initially as a Doctoral Student focusing on beam coupling impedance, followed by a COFUND Fellowship working on LHC injection kicker magnets. Hugo holds a Ph.D. in Physics from The University of Manchester and a Master’s Degree in Physics from the University of Southampton.
