Emily Peterson is an experienced cultural resource professional with expertise in archaeology and academic instruction. Currently serving as the Cultural Resources Lead and Project Archaeologist at Perteet Inc. since April 2018, Emily previously held the position of Cultural Resources Specialist at SWCA Environmental Consultants from 2014 to March 2018. Emily's archaeological fieldwork experience includes participation in various significant projects such as the Banda Islands, San Juan Islands, and East Timor. Emily's academic contributions include teaching roles at the University of Washington, where coursework involved archaeology and biological anthropology, supplemented by a strong research background in laboratory techniques and isotopic analysis. Emily completed a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Washington, building upon a Master's Degree from the same institution and a Bachelor's Degree in Archaeology from Boston University.
