Grainne Clarke

Grainne Clarke is a legal consultant and translator specializing in International Criminal Law, currently employed at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna since June 2023. Clarke has also worked as a Relief Project Worker for Peter McVerry Trust and is set to serve as a Fundraising Executive at World Vision from September 2023 to August 2024. Clarke's prior experience includes an internship with the United Nations as a Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Afghanistan, a Project Advocacy and Research Internship at No Peace Without Justice, and a role as an Italian Radio Presenter focused on Human Rights at si -Radioradicale. Previous positions also include serving as an Administrative Health Officer at Summerhill Primary Care and a Research Assistant in Migration & Asylum Law at the University of Warwick. Educational qualifications include a degree in Legal Studies from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and certificates in International Criminal Law from the International Nuremberg Principles Academy, complemented by a background in International Relations and Politics from Università degli Studi di Cagliari and University College Dublin.
