Lynn Mikula

Dr. Lynn Mikula is the President & CEO of Peterborough Regional Health Centre. After starting at PRHC in 2011 as a staff general surgeon, she was later appointed as Chief of Staff, Chief Medical Executive, and Executive Vice-President accountable for medical affairs, risk, and patient relations.

Dr. Mikula served as executive lead for PRHC’s COVID-19 pandemic response and executive sponsor for the hospital’s long-term redevelopment strategy, and has spearheaded numerous quality improvement and physician engagement initatives. She is passionate about change, innovation and engagement within the complex environment of healthcare.

After obtaining her MD from McGill University, Dr. Mikula completed residency training at the University of Toronto, and has both an MSc from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Management from McGill. She lives in Peterborough, Ontario where she enjoys easy access to the great Canadian outdoors with her husband, three children, and one very silly dog.
