Nada Drobne Popović (born in 1975) holds a master’s degree in administrative sciences. In 1996 she joined RLS d.o.o. and was appointed Assistant Director of the company in 2001. In 2006 Ms Drobne Popović obtained her master’s degree from the Faculty of Governmental and European Studies, Brdo pri Kranju. She continued her career joining SŽ ŽGP d.d. in 2008, where she held a position of Business Director from 2009 until 2012 when she became Director of Economics, and later Assistant General Manager of Slovenske železnice d.o.o. In 2013 she joined the Slovenian State Holding Company, and was later, in October 2015, appointed Member of its Management Board responsible for corporate management of capital investments, finance, IT, acquisitions and sales. Ms Drobne Popović joined SIJ Acroni d.o.o in June 2008 as Financial Director. The Supervisory Board of Petrol d.d., Ljubljana appointed her President of the Management Board of Petrol d.d., Ljubljana for a five-year term of office beginning on 11st February, 2020.

Petrol dd Ljubljana is a Slovenia-based company engaged in the provision of oil and other energy products. The Company operates through two segments, Oil and Merchandise sales and Energy activities. The Oil and Merchandise sales segment consists of sale of oil and petroleum products, and sale of supplementary merchandise comprised of automotive products, foodstuffs, accessories, tobacco, lottery products, coupons and cards. The Energy activities segment consists of sale and distribution of gas; generation, sale and distribution of electricity and heat; energy consumption projects and comprehensive energy supply projects, and environment activities. As of December 31, 2011, it operated a number of subsidiaries based in Slovenia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia, among others. On February 11, 2013, the Company acquired a 51% stake in Instalacija doo. On May 10, 2013, the Company acquired a 100% stake in Nafta Geoterm doo.
