Senior Cost Estimating Engineer at Petroleum Development Oman

Mohammed Al Breiki is a seasoned professional in cost estimation and quantity surveying with extensive experience in the oil and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Cost Estimating Engineer at Petroleum Development Oman since February 2020, Mohammed previously held the position of Senior Cost Estimator at OQ from November 2014 to January 2020, where responsibilities included establishing cost estimating practices and maintaining relevant procedures. From January 2008 to October 2014, Mohammed acted as the Head of the Post-contract Department at the Ministry of Defence, overseeing construction and maintenance projects and leading a team of quantity surveying engineers. Initial career roles included Quantity Surveyor and Contract Engineer, focusing on the estimation and contractual processes for specialized military projects. Mohammed holds a Bachelor of Science with honours in Built Environment – Quantity Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University, attained between 2002 and 2007.
