Janin Girie has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Janin started their career at Shell in 2008, where they held roles as the HSSE Assurance Manager for Asia Pacific and Joint Ventures Manager. In 2011, they joined PETRONAS Carigali as a Production Technical Services officer. Janin then moved to PETRONAS in 2012 as the Head of Operations Management before becoming the Head of Carigali OE Division in 2013. In 2015, they joined PETRONAS CARIGALI NILE LTD as the Country Chairman. Janin'smost recent position is as the Group Chief Executive Officer at Petroleum Sarawak Berhad since January 2022.
Janin Girie attended Lamar University from 1987 to present and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering.
