Karim Rafat is an experienced mechanical engineer with a background in project engineering and maintenance. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Petromaint since September 2019, Karim is responsible for overseeing maintenance at the Agiba Meleiha field. Previously, Karim worked as a Mechanical Engineer at EQUINOX Petroleum Services, contributing to the maintenance of the Super Rig SHAMS#2. Karim's experience also includes a role as a Mechanical Project Engineer at Western Desert Operating Petroleum Company, focusing on redesigning a pumping system for a crude oil marine terminal. Early career internships at El-Araby Group and SHEBIN TEX provided foundational experience in maintenance of production lines and various mechanical systems. Karim holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Power Engineering from Minufiya University.
