Joseph Wong

Joseph Wong, PMP, serves as the Head of Project Delivery and Operations at PETRONAS since August 2018, overseeing renewable energy projects across Malaysia and Southeast Asia from development to operation. Previously, Joseph held roles such as Head of New Development and Project Manager at PETRONAS, contributing to significant projects like the Solar Master Plan and the management of the largest solar project in Malaysia. Prior experience includes a decade at Technip, where Joseph advanced from Project Engineer to Project Manager, managing critical initiatives like the Petronas Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Plant. Early career experience involved design engineering for major power and industrial facilities. Joseph holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Marine and Structural from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
