Sanjiv Kumar Shrivastava

Sanjiv Kumar Shrivastava is a seasoned Principal Reservoir Engineer at PETRONAS since May 2010, specializing in Reservoir Evaluation and Dynamic Modelling. With a history of expertise, Sanjiv has played key roles as a Specialist Reservoir Engineer, focusing on stakeholder interests in joint operations, technical leadership in offshore gas projects in Malaysia, and managing PETRONAS's interests in Sudan. Prior to PETRONAS, Sanjiv worked at KGOC from July 2006 to April 2010, leading subsurface development planning for offshore oil and gas fields in Kuwait and establishing a comprehensive data database. Sanjiv's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited from 1996 to 2006, contributing to the redevelopment of offshore fields, reservoir simulation studies, and mentoring junior engineers. Sanjiv's career began at ONGC from 1991 to 1995, focusing on performance monitoring and development schemes for various oil fields. Sanjiv holds a B. Tech degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian School of Mines, completed in 1991.
