Alex Owuor

Alex Owuor is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently serving as Lead Data Engineer at Pezesha since March 2022, Alex has played a crucial role in the technical implementation of credit scoring models and APIs. Previous positions include Senior Data Engineer and Senior Data Scientist at Pezesha, and Data Analyst at Mwananchi Credit Limited, where responsibilities encompassed model building, data analysis, and automation. Additional experience includes CEO of Fanuzi Research and Data Company and a Fraud Management and Revenue Assurance Analyst at Airtel Kenya. Academically, Alex holds a Master's degree in Data Science from IU International University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Nairobi.
