Dr. Tobias Merl has a diverse work experience. Dr. Tobias started their career in 2011 as an Unternehmensberater at Competence Centrum mittelständische Industrie, where they worked until 2015. In 2016, they joined Pfannenberg as a Business Development Manager and held this role until 2019. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at Pfannenberg. Currently, Dr. Tobias Merl is the CEO of Pfannenberg, a position they have held since 2022.
Dr. Tobias Merl began their education at Leuphana University of Lüneburg in 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen in 2009. Dr. Tobias then pursued a Master of Science degree in Management & Engineering, which they obtained in 2011. Dr. Merl continued their educational journey at the same institution, completing their studies with a doctoral degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen in 2016, earning the title of Dr. rer. pol.
