Ed Pittenger

Ed Pittenger currently serves as the Director of Broadcast & Media Systems at PGA TOUR, a role initiated in September 2023. Previously, Ed held the position of Principal and CTO at Marietta Broadcast Engineering & Consulting from November 2019 to September 2023. Ed's extensive experience includes roles such as Director of Engineering at ES Broadcast, Vice President of Engineering at F&F Productions, and Project Manager at Lawo. Ed's background encompasses managing engineering teams, overseeing remote production facilities, and providing consulting services for SMPTE 2110 and cloud migration. With foundational roles at National Mobile Television, Walt Disney World Disney Production Services, and Satellite & Production Services, Ed combines technical expertise with leadership in broadcast engineering. Ed's educational credentials include certifications in Electronics and Satellite Communications from the USAF Technical School and the United States Army Communications School.
