Jim Gill

Jim Gill, PE, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Asset Strategy and Standards at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since January 2021, following a tenure as Director of Standards & Work Methods. Prior to this, Jim held key roles at HDR, including Northern California Hydropower Practice Leader, and returned to Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where roles included Director of Power Generation Asset Management & Compliance and Director of Hydro Licensing & Water Management. Responsibilities have encompassed overseeing large teams focused on compliance, asset management, hydropower operations, and engineering. Jim's earlier experience includes serving as Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins and Electric Distribution Planning Engineer at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2001.
