Mike Nzundi

Mike Nzundi is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently serving as an Electric Distribution Planning Engineer in the Protection division at Pacific Gas and Electric Company since September 2020. Prior to this role, Mike worked at Sargent & Lundy as an Electrical Engineer for a brief period and held two consecutive positions as an Electrical Engineer at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at California State University-Sacramento, where design and testing of broadband curved dipole antennas for wireless communication systems were part of the responsibilities. An electrical engineering internship at SMUD provided earlier experience in assisting engineering staff with cable replacement and injection projects. Mike holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a focus on Power Systems, both from California State University-Sacramento, as well as an Associate of Science in Chemistry from American River College and an ACCA qualification in Accounting from FTMS College Malaysia.
