Anniek Vleems RC is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Business Controller and Financial Controller at PGGM since August 2019. Prior to this role, Anniek worked at TKP Pensioen from October 2017 to July 2019, focusing on financial accounting and ensuring the accuracy of financial records for several pension funds, while monitoring liquidity and preparing forecasts. Additional experience includes serving as Treasurer for Rode Kruis District Groningen, where Anniek formulated a work plan, budget, and annual report, and attended coordination team meetings to provide financial direction. Anniek began a career in finance with an internship at Provincie Drenthe in early 2015, where a bachelor's thesis on economics was completed. Educational qualifications include a Register Controller/Executive Master of Finance & Control from TIAS School for Business and Society, as well as multiple degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Management from the University of Groningen and Hanze University.
