Ajit Menon has held various leadership positions in the asset management industry. Ajit served as the Chief Executive Officer of PGIM India Mutual Fund since February 2019. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director and Chief Business Officer at DHFL Pramerica Asset Managers Pvt. Ltd. from July 2017 to February 2019. From January 2016 to July 2017, they worked as the Head of Strategy at Tata Asset Management Limited. Ajit Menon also has a long tenure at DSP BlackRock Investment Managers, where they held the roles of Executive Vice President and Head of Sales & Co-head of Marketing from June 2000 to January 2016, and Executive Vice President and Head of Sales from 2000 to 2010.
Ajit Menon's education history begins with their high school education at Kalina Education Society's Hans Bugra High School from 1975 to 1986. Ajit completed their SSC degree with a field of study in English. Next, they pursued their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from Parle College, which they attended from 1986 to 1991. Finally, from 1992 to 1994, Ajit Menon attended Chetana's Institute of Management and Research, where they obtained their MMS degree in Marketing.
