Drew Gasparrini is an accomplished professional in the field of computational science and biology, currently serving as the Head of AI and Computational Science at Phare Bio since May 2025. Prior experience includes various roles at Empress Therapeutics from November 2018 to April 2025, culminating as Associate Director in Computational Discovery and Innovation, alongside positions as Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist in Computational Biology. Drew's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Genomics from Washington University School of Medicine, where research focused on antibiotic resistance under the advisement of Prof. Gautam Dantas. Additional education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame.
