Makenzie Weir has a diverse professional background, currently serving as a Lead Development Representative at Phenomenex since September 2022. Prior experience includes managing the Men’s Athletic Clothing Specialty Shop at Scheels from January 2021 to September 2022, and working as a Preschool Teacher at Early Connections Learning Centers in late 2020. Additionally, Makenzie gained experience in the service industry as a Server at Cubby’s Sports Bar and Grill from June 2018 to June 2020, and briefly coached the South Dakota Volleyball Club's 14's Team in early 2020. During time at South Dakota State University from July 2016 to December 2019, Makenzie was a Division 1 Student Athlete, participated in a Sports Medicine Internship, and coached at a summer volleyball camp. Makenzie holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from South Dakota State University, earned in 2020.
