Sean McMonagle

Sean McMonagle is an experienced design professional currently serving as Head of Product Design Innovation at Philip Morris International since May 2022, focusing on creating a smoke-free future with IQOS. Previously, Sean worked at Samsung Electronics from July 2015 to May 2022, advancing through roles as Design Manager and Lead Product Designer, and contributing to a diversity of projects including wearable technology, mobile portfolios, and gaming products. Early experience includes positions at Nextofkin Creatives, where Sean was an Industrial Designer and Project Lead, and at James H. Heal & Co Ltd, where product design efforts were directed toward the textile industry. Sean began a career in design after earning a BSc (Hons) in Product Design from The University of Huddersfield.
