Sathish Kumar

Sathish Kumar is an accomplished leader in the field of research and development, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Global R&D at Philips since April 2014. In this role, Sathish is responsible for the MR & OEM R&D function, driving program delivery and business strategy with a customer-focused approach. Prior to this, Sathish held positions as Senior Director of Global Software Engineering, overseeing a large team delivering software solutions across multiple regions. Sathish's career at GE Healthcare spanned over 13 years, where roles included Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager, focusing on software development for MRI systems. Sathish holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur and a PGDBA in Marketing from Symbiosis International University.
