Laken Burns

Laken Burns is an experienced horticulturist and guest services professional with a strong background in plant care, community building, and editorial work in the horticultural field. Currently serving as a Display Horticulturist at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens since August 2019, Laken previously held a position as a Guest Services Associate. Prior to this, Laken gained valuable experience as an Editorial Intern for the American Horticultural Society, where responsibilities included writing and managing social media. Laken's earlier roles, including Resident Assistant at West Virginia University and various positions in plant care at multiple nurseries and garden centers, have contributed to a comprehensive understanding of horticulture and customer service. Laken holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from West Virginia University.
