Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Travis Vought is an experienced professional in guest services and visitor experience, currently serving as Curator of Guest Experience at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens since August 2013. Vought has held multiple roles within the same organization, including Associate Director of Visitor Services and Manager of Guest Service/Admissions. Prior to this position, Vought gained experience as a Staff Trainer and Store Opener at Social-Bakery Square and worked in various capacities in the hospitality industry, including Bartender/Shift Supervisor at P-Town Bar and Manager/National Store Opener at Bar Louie. Vought began a career in bartending as well, holding a position at Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery. Educationally, Vought holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a High School Diploma from Athens Area High School.
