As CEO and Co-Founder of PHIX Photonics Assembly since August 2018, Albert has focused on the packaging of photonic integrated circuits. Previous roles include General Manager at Tempress Systems, where innovative furnace technology for the solar industry was developed, and Vice President of Global Operations at ASM International. Albert has also contributed to various organizations, including serving on the boards of Sonkei and Solmates, and being an active member of TKI Urban Energy. Educational credentials include a PhD in Applied Physics and an MSc in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Twente.
