David Nixon

David Nixon currently serves as the Head of Adviser Digital at Phoenix Group, where responsibilities include overseeing the adviser digital proposition for both the Open and Heritage businesses and implementing the Group Advisor Digital Strategy endorsed by the board since November 2020. Prior to this role, David Nixon spent over 24 years at Standard Life Aberdeen, culminating in a position as Head of Digital for Standard Life Ireland, where the focus was on defining digital vision and strategy. Additional roles at Standard Life Aberdeen included Head of Business Change in the Distribution Division, which involved organizational redesign and project implementation, and Marketing Operations Manager, where David Nixon cultivated extensive people management skills and performance-driven strategies. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The Open University and a BA (Hons) in Marketing from the University of South Wales.
