Francis Lo

Francis Lo is an accomplished Senior Manufacturing Systems Programming Analyst at Phononic Inc, specializing in designing and developing data analytic models and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing quality and efficiency using advanced technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud AI services since October 2021. Previously, at Cree LED, Francis served as a Systems Architect/Analyst, following a long tenure at Cree where roles included Business Analyst/Project Lead and Solution Architect MES, focusing on enhancing the Manufacturing Execution System and collaborating with the Factory Automation team on process efficiencies. Earlier experience includes serving as an IT Supervisor at Maxim Integrated Products, Inc., where development of SECS/GEM compliant applications for semiconductor factory automation took place, and a Research Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where a 3D solid model generator for rapid prototyping MEMS devices was developed. Francis holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Information Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, along with a Sun Certified Associate credential for Java Platform obtained from ElementK.
