Ben Kerns is an accomplished Instructor in Media Arts, Photography, and Film, currently teaching at Highline College, Photographic Center Northwest, and Seattle Film Institute since 2019. The professional background includes ownership of Kerns PhotoMedia since 1983, providing photography and filmmaking services while focusing on compelling storytelling. Prior experience includes serving as Film & Photography Faculty at The Art Institute of Seattle from 2007 to 2019 and working as a Freelance Photographer for Eddie Bauer from 1987 to 2000. Educational qualifications consist of an MFA in Photography, Sound, and Video Fine Art and an MFA in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as a BFA in Photography and Graphic Design from the University of Oregon.
