Dominic Benson

Dominic Benson currently serves as the Director of Infrastructure Engineering at PhotoShelter since May 2024, overseeing platform engineering for various SaaS platforms and directing DevOps initiatives. In addition to this role, Dominic has been with Third Light since July 2008, progressing through various positions including Technology Leader, Technology Director, Senior Software Developer, and Software Developer, where responsibilities have included server operations, technology strategy, software architecture, and backend development. Prior experience includes a role as a Parallel Optimization Developer at STFC Daresbury, focusing on parallel stochastic search algorithms. Dominic holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, earned between 2005 and 2008.
