Physicians for Human Rights
William Jaffe is an experienced advocacy coordinator and Aizik Wolf Fellow at Physicians for Human Rights, having served in this position since August 2022. In this role, Jaffe participated in the official Working Group for the Istanbul Protocol, contributing to legal analyses regarding the admissibility of remote clinical evaluations of torture. Previously, Jaffe interned at Physicians for Human Rights, where training modules were developed for clinicians and lawyers on updates to the Istanbul Protocol. Additional experience includes working as a research assistant at the Transitional Justice and Democratic Stability Lab, conducting studies on post-authoritarian reconciliation, and internships at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago and Breakthrough New York. Jaffe holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Chicago, completed in 2022.
