Felix Zimmermann

Felix Zimmermann is a PhD researcher at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since July 2021, focusing on developing new reconstruction algorithms for quantitative MRI that leverage prior knowledge to enhance robustness and learned regularization, while actively presenting research findings in academic papers and conferences. Prior experience includes a position as a scientist at the University of Hamburg, where planning and remote supervision of FEL and synchrotron experiments were executed, and a visiting scientist role at Stanford University involving physics simulations and X-Ray FEL imaging experiments in Japan and the USA. Additionally, Felix contributed as a visiting research scholar at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and worked as a tutor at Technische Universität Berlin, providing support in programming and IT-related issues. Educationally, Felix holds a Staatsexamen in medicine from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and has been affiliated with Freie Universität Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin.
