Hila Ezra - Altshuler has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical research industry. Hila started their career as a Data Entry Operator at Hesperion in 2005. Hila then joined Medinol in 2013, where they held various roles including Training Officer and DCC operator-QA, Clinical Trial Project Leader and Medical Writer, CRA and Medical Writer, and CTA. In 2021, they joined Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as a Clinical Project Manager. Currently, they are working at Pi-Cardia as a Global Clinical Trial Manager starting from January 2023.
Hila Ezra - Altshuler completed their Bachelor's degree in Health Systems Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2008 to 2011. Hila also obtained additional certifications as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) from Bioforum the Data Masters in December 2016.

The company's proprietary technology is based on delivering mechanical impact for creating fractures in valve calcifications, without injuring the surrounding soft tissue. This treatment, which only takes severalseconds, is intended to increase the valve effective orifice area without the need to replace the valve.
