Erik Hansson

Erik Hansson is a highly experienced professional in the field of engineering and commercial development, currently serving as Commercial Development Manager at Piab since September 2020, having also held roles as Project Manager and Interim Director of Product Management within the same organization. Prior experience includes significant positions at Volvo Cars, where Erik contributed as a First CAE Engineer and CAE Engineer specializing in Vehicle Dynamics from January 2017 to September 2020, and as a CAE Engineer at VETEC AB. Erik's early career features a Master's thesis internship at Volvo Group and several summer internships at Statoil, focusing on Drilling & Well operations. Erik holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mechanics and has a solid educational foundation from Chalmers University of Technology, complemented by a Gymnasieexamen in Natural Science from Donnergymnasiet.
