Romain Murat

Romain Murat possesses extensive experience in trading technology, particularly in foreign exchange (FX) and rates. Currently affiliated with Pictet Group since February 2022, Romain focuses on trading technology within these domains. Prior to this role, Romain served as Director and Head of Delta 1 eTrading EMEA Technology at Credit Suisse from November 2017 to January 2022. Romain also held significant positions at BNP Paribas from December 2004 to November 2017, including Head of eFX Auto Hedging, Execution & Market Making Technology, along with the role of eFX Developer, emphasizing front office development in FX automated trading systems. Romain's career commenced in IT security through a short placement at BNP Paribas - International Financial Services in 2004. Romain holds dual Master of Engineering degrees from IMT Atlantique and Telecom Bretagne, attained between 2001 and 2004, and education was completed at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève.
