Tony Ford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in workforce development and logistics. Currently serving as a Training and Employment Specialist (Veteran Rep) at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and as a DVOP (Vet Rep) at Pikes Peak Workforce Center since March 2009, Tony Ford specializes in assisting veterans in job readiness and employment advocacy. Prior roles include Logistician Engineer at ManTech and Data Solutions Technology, where Tony managed substantial inventories and guided personnel in supply operations. With a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Huron University, Tony Ford has demonstrated a commitment to supporting military personnel and ensuring effective resource management throughout a diverse career, including time spent in the United States Marine Corps.

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center is an American Job Center serving El Paso and Teller counties that connects vital businesses with work-ready job seekers and employer-driven services. Last year, we served more than 39,000 clients including more than 10,000 veterans and over 1,000 young adults. We provide no-cost job seeker services from resume assistance, interview training, computer skills training and more. Clients range from entry-level to professional; include youth, adults, people returning to the workforce, underemployed and those with barriers to employment. Veterans always receive priority service. In support of regional employers, we host tailored, no-cost recruitment and hiring events including candidate sourcing, group and individual pre-employment assessments, provide a job database of searchable candidate profiles and more.
