Andrew Henderson has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Andrew currently holds the position of Senior Project Engineer at Pilbara Minerals Limited since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Rio Tinto from 2017 to 2021, where they held the roles of Mechanical Engineering Specialist and Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent. Before joining Rio Tinto, Andrew worked at BHP from 2012 to 2017, serving as an Analysis and Improvement Engineer. Andrew also gained experience at Ford Motor Company as a Body Shop Process Engineer from 2010 to 2012 and at Alcoa from 2007 to 2010, where they held various roles including Reliability Engineer, Site Reliability Specialist, and Project Engineer. Andrew's earlier experience includes working as a Contract Engineer at Ford Motor Company from 2003 to 2006. Throughout their career, they have been involved in equipment maintenance strategies, optimizing maintenance activities, providing engineering support, conducting investigations into plant breakdowns, and coordinating and managing engineering projects.
Andrew Henderson attended Curtin University from 1999 to 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Pilbara Minerals is an emerging lithium and tantalum producer focused on the development of its world-class 100% owned Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project, located approximately 120kms from Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.Pilgangoora has been confirmed as one of the largest spodumene (lithium pyroxene) and tantaliteprojects in the world and is set to be developed into one of the world’s largest lithium mines, also producing tantalite as a valuable by-product.Pilbara’s aim is to fast-track Pilgangoora towards production to capitalise on the widely anticipated shortfall of lithium in global markets over the next decade, with the project on-track to commence commissioning by the end of 2017.
