Project Geologist at Pilbara Minerals Limited

Tom Lightbody started their work experience in 2010 as a Computing Geoscientist at Neftex Exploration Insights, where they worked until 2014. In 2017, they became self-employed and worked as a Golf caddie until 2018. Tom then joined Pilbara Minerals Limited in 2019 as a Pit Technician before moving up to Junior Geologist and later Mine Geologist. Currently, they hold the position of Project Geologist at Pilbara Minerals Limited. During their time at the University of Southampton from 2013 to 2017, they pursued an integrated masters degree in Geology, with a focus on field trips and research projects.

Tom Lightbody completed their high school education from Dover Grammar School for Boys between 2006 and 2013. Subsequently, they pursued higher studies at the University of Southampton from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Master in Science (MSci) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General.
