David Dawson

David Dawson, CPA, has extensive experience in tax preparation and accounting, currently serving as Income Tax Manager at Pilot Flying J since January 2017, following roles as Income Tax Accountant I, II, and III. Key responsibilities include federal and state tax return preparation, quarterly tax estimates, and complex calculations related to partnership taxation and state apportionment. David holds a Master of Accountancy in Taxation and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, along with an Associate of Science in Accounting from Pellissippi State Community College. Additionally, David has a background in basketball coaching, having held various positions at local high schools and currently coaching at Concord Christian School.
