Steve Bassette

Steve Bassette is an experienced technology and engineering professional with a diverse background spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Enterprise Applications at Pilot Flying J since December 2021, Steve leads teams in supporting internal products and initiatives, including a notable Data Engineering Team responsible for key projects such as onboarding a large IP software purchase and implementing cloud infrastructure improvements. Prior experience includes roles at ANCA CNC Machines as the USA Engineering Team Lead and Software Application Engineer, where significant contributions were made in managing special projects and delivering custom software solutions. Steve's earlier positions include Research Analyst at Altarum, Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, and Reliability Engineer at CACI International Inc, complemented by military service as an Electrician's Mate in the US Navy. Steve holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
