Alex Benfield

Alex Benfield is a software development engineer in test with extensive experience in automated testing and quality assurance. Currently employed at Pindrop since April 2022, Alex previously worked as a software test engineer at IBM from July 2020 to April 2022, where responsibilities included designing automated test solutions and collaborating on API performance testing. Prior to that, Alex was a software test engineer at Northrop Grumman, focusing on developing test plans and executing functional analyses. Early career roles included tutoring at Clemson Athletic Academic Services and an internship as an Oracle Cloud Developer intern at CSS International, where Alex developed applications and demonstrated proof of concepts to technical teams. Alex's professional journey began with a technical internship at BAE Systems and is supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Clemson University.
