Michaela Meier

Michaela Meier, LMSW-Clinical, CAADC, ADS, and EMDR trained, currently serves as an Outpatient Therapist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services since December 2019, delivering therapeutic interventions and participating in patient assessments using evidence-based tools. Prior experience includes working as a Health Coach at Cherry Health, where Michaela developed biopsychosocial assessments and employed therapeutic techniques like Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Michaela has also held roles such as a Behavioral Health Therapist at Catholic Charities West Michigan, an On-Call Medical Social Worker at North Ottawa Community Health System, and Coordinator for the Montcalm Ionia College Access Network, all contributing to a robust background in mental health and wellness. Michaela's educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a minor in Psychology from Central Michigan University.
