Sunil (Neil) Chavan, CFA has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. Sunil (Neil) started their career as an Associate Software Consultant at Capgemini Consulting in 2005 and then moved on to Paramount Industries as an Associate. In 2008, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, working on research projects related to financial optimization and signal recovery. In 2009, they interned as a Research Analyst at AQR Capital Management, where they analyzed trading strategies for Mortgaged Backed Securities. Sunil (Neil) then joined Verus Analytics (formerly Quant division of Gradient Analytics) as a Financial Engineer, where they were responsible for engineering quantitative insider trading and earnings quality equity factor models, among other tasks. Finally, in 2012, they joined PineBridge Investments as a Senior Vice President, focusing on quantitative equities.

Sunil (Neil) Chavan, CFA, holds a Master's degree in Quantitative and Computational Finance from Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Pune between 2001 and 2005. In addition, they are a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA charterholder) certified by the CFA Institute.
