Aditya J is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in building user-centric platforms and technology solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Pinecone since February 2025, Aditya is focused on developing the experience platform for AI. Prior to this, Aditya spent nearly nine years at Dropbox, holding various engineering leadership roles including Director of Engineering for Usability and Search, where responsibilities included enhancing user experiences and implementing advanced search capabilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at Riverbed Technology, leading teams in WAN optimization software, and working as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, gaining insights into scalable directories and big data. Aditya holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and completed a program at Y Combinator in 2019.
