Denise Read is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community health and employment support. Currently serving as the Winthrop Court Community House Coordinator at Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre since September 2003, Denise has demonstrated expertise in proposal writing and securing funding for various community programs, including summer park programming and a Homework Club. Prior roles include Project Coordinator for the Back to Work initiative aimed at supporting women re-entering the workforce and Employment Counselor at Centretown Churches Social Action Committee, where assistance was provided to food bank clients in employment-related tasks.
