Sarah Fraser-Smith, MCA, MSW, currently serves as the Volunteer & Communications Coordinator at Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre since January 2019, overseeing Volunteer & Student Services including recruitment, onboarding, and training. Previous roles include Community Development Volunteer Coordinator and Foodbank Supervisor, where responsibilities included volunteer management and food security initiatives. Sarah has experience in community development, outreach, and evaluation through various positions in community health and social service organizations, including roles at Banff Avenue Community House, Social Planning Council of Ottawa, and the National Crime Prevention Center. An accomplished academic, Sarah holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Criminology from the University of Ottawa, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Carleton University.
