Solomon Raj

Solomon Raj has been working in the tech industry since 2005. Solomon began their career at Ketera Technologies (a Rearden Commerce Company) as a Sr. Software Engineer. During their time there, they developed a Spend Management product which included ETL development, data warehouse design, and BI reporting using Microstrategy. Solomon also developed customized ETL using shell scripts and Oracle PL/Sql.

In 2011, they joined Deem, Inc. as a Data Engineer. At Deem, they developed a strategic data warehouse from scratch, integrating different platforms and gathering data from multiple products. Solomon was also responsible for data warehouse design, ETL development, and hardware sizing, as well as implementing BI reporting using Microstrategy.

In 2014, they moved to OpenX as a Sr. Software Engineer Data. At OpenX, they were responsible for migration of on prem services to GCP, managing infrastructure via terraform and package management using Helm, and containerizing applications using docker and deploying them on kubernetes.

Most recently, in 2019, they joined Pinger as a Sr. Member of Technical Staff - Data Engineering Lead.

Solomon Raj obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from the University of Madras. In addition, they hold certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (2022), from MicroStrategy as a Certified Project Designer (2014), from Oracle for Program with PL/SQL (2010), and from Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Master.
