Aidan Crook is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience in analytics and machine learning. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science for Data Platforms at Pinterest since January 2018, Aidan has held various leadership roles, including Head of Ads Measurement and Head of Experimentation & Metrics, focusing on improving advertiser measurement and online experimentation. Prior to Pinterest, Aidan worked at Microsoft from November 2009 to January 2018, where roles included Principal Data Scientist and Senior Applied Scientist, driven by innovative solutions in machine learning and search product relevance. Aidan's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MPhys from the University of Oxford, with early research experiences at MIT and the California Institute of Technology.
