Pierluigi de Cancellis has extensive work experience at Pirelli. Pierluigi started at the company in 1994 as an R&D compound development specialist and later became the R&D racing compound development manager. Pierluigi then served as the Pirelli Motorsport Circuit Manager before transitioning to the role of R&D Material Development Director, leading a team in developing materials for Pirelli Tyre Group. In 2015, they became the Purchasing Director and subsequently held various positions, including R&D Director, Executive Vice President Technology, and Chief Procurement Officer. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer at Pirelli.
Pierluigi de Cancellis studied chemical engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 1988 to 1994, earning a degree in Ingegneria.
