Regis Kuckaertz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Developer at Nvision (Brand & Digital Creation) until 2015. In 2010, they served as a Web Developer for UNFCCC and later as a Usability Consultant at the European Chemicals Agency. From 2011 to 2015, they worked for the Government of Luxembourg as an Interaction Designer. In 2015, they joined Guardian News & Media as a Client Side Developer, contributing to the front-end advertising stack and the main website. Over the years, they progressed to become a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a vital role in building infrastructure and delivering new forms of online storytelling. Additionally, they took on the responsibility of being the tech lead for the Content API team, maintaining and evolving the Guardian's Content API. In 2020, they joined Pirum as a Technical Lead and later transitioned to the role of Principal Engineer.

Regis Kuckaertz obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Liège between the years 2001 and 2003. Regis also holds another Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science, which they earned from HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège from 1998 to 2001.
