Zane Carmean

Zane Carmean, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as Lead Analyst in Quantitative and Funds Research at PitchBook Data where responsibilities include developing proprietary tools and analytics for private market participants. Since joining PitchBook in June 2019, Zane progressed from Quantitative Research Analyst to Senior Data Analyst, leveraging skills in Excel, SQL, and Python to provide insights based on extensive data analysis. Prior experience includes roles at Green Street Advisors as Senior Associate and Associate in Strategic Research, focusing on commercial real estate analytics. Previous internships were completed at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Capsim Management Simulations Inc., and Group One Trading, LP, contributing to economic research, product testing, and trade support. Zane holds a Master of Science in Finance from Università Bocconi and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Finance from Loyola University Chicago.
